Introduction
The Benefit Makers (www.thebenefitmakers.com) is a digital tool licensed exclusively to ConfBenefit AISBL, which uses it to manage association and community activities. The portal offers basic and premium services differentiated for various categories of users (ConfBenefit members [Benefit Corporations], Wanna Benefit members [not yet Benefit Corporations], third-party stakeholders). The specific conditions will be communicated upon registration or activation of the services.
The intellectual property rights to the portal and the Benefit Makers trademark belong to the respective owner, who has authorised their use by ConfBenefit AISBL.
Access to and use of the platform implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Subject
Benefit Makers is a digital platform that allows:
ConfBenefit member Benefit Corporations to create a profile, appear in the directory and access networking tools; Wanna Benefits (companies in transition to the Benefit model) to register with limited access;
in the future, other stakeholders (professionals, investors, partner organisations) to use dedicated areas.
Registration and account
Each user is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided.
Access may be subject to evaluation and approval by the Admission Committee.
The user is responsible for safeguarding their credentials.
Permitted use
Users undertake to:
- use the platform for purposes consistent with the values of the Manifesto and the ConfBenefit Statute;
- not disseminate content that is illegal, offensive or harmful to the rights of others;
- not attempt unauthorised access or misuse of the system.
Content and intellectual property
The logos and data uploaded by companies remain their property.
The intellectual property rights to the portal and the Benefit Makers trademark remain the exclusive property of the relevant owner.
The user grants ConfBenefit AISBL a non-exclusive licence to use the content for publication and promotion on the platform.
Services and limitations
ConfBenefit members (Benefit Corporations)
Includes basic services: international directory, public profile, networking, access to official events.
Option to activate premium services (e.g. ESG tools, advanced matchmaking, international visibility).
Wanna Benefit (Companies interested in the Benefit model and/or in transition)
Access to a limited profile on the platform.
Option to consult training resources, toolkits and informative content.
Option to upgrade to a full profile in the event of transformation into a Benefit Corporation and membership of ConfBenefit.
Other stakeholders (prospective: professionals, investors, partner organisations)
Access to dedicated areas of the platform.
Option to activate premium services (e.g. thematic networking, sector visibility, CSR partnerships).
ConfBenefit AISBL reserves the right to modify, suspend or expand the services offered, notifying users with reasonable notice.
Responsibility
ConfBenefit is not responsible for the accuracy of the data provided by users.
It is not responsible for service interruptions due to force majeure or technical maintenance.
Withdrawal and cancellation
Users may request the cancellation of their account at any time. ConfBenefit AISBL may revoke access in the event of a breach of these Terms or loss of membership requirements.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Place of jurisdiction: Brussels.
